Piano
Our piano teaching as an instrument will have as its main objective the simple fact of appreciating music from another angle and not in a structured way. Seeing music as a form of motivation and not as a simple learning of an instrument will help us greatly to achieve better results almost without noticing.
Our main objective is to convey to students that music plays an important role in our lives and that it has a lot of values. Beyond the piano, music is a way of evading and learning new things.
That is why piano lessons will be taught from a different view to what traditional music centers accustom us to, obviously depending on the age and level of the student, different methods will be used:
- For the little ones, we will use the Bastien method accompanied by musical language and of course motivational games that make children love music. The objective at these ages is very clear: motivate the children and involve them in this field with recreational musical activities and at the same time they learn the instrument. Our final proposal is for the student at this age to always feel like more and thus achieve long-term results.
- For the older ones, we will use a totally different method that consists of adapting a repertoire to the student for each quarter. The works will be chosen by the teacher and some of them, by the student, to help so that there is an extra motivation. We recommend three works per quarter of different styles (modern, classic, soundtracks, etc.). Classes will be divided into two parts: Musical language and piano. As for the musical language, we will teach the basics to improve the reading of the scores since we will gain very good results in the long term. Our main objective at these ages is for the student to feel happy and excited in the classes. As a final objective, it is necessary to achieve an involvement on the part of the student to get to compose songs and be able to play autonomously, that is why we make a long journey through the different musical periods in order to have a repertoire more than enough .
Classes are collectively structured to promote group work, trust, improvisation, respect and participation. It is the best way to achieve results immediately. But there is also the modality of private lessons, adapted to more particular needs.
Among the great capacities that will be acquired in piano lessons are the following:
Ability to compose and create music autonomously.
- Reading and improvisation ability.
- Learning arpeggios, scales and fundamental chords for a good accompaniment.
- Achieve ease and agility in the fingers.
- Stimulation of group work and establish a good musical training at the theoretical level.
